BoE's Saunders: Average inflation targeting not likely to have much impact for UK
"If we were to shift to average inflation targeting, I'm not sure it would have that much impact for the UK," Bank of England (BoE) policymaker Michael Saunders argued on Friday.
Regarding additional policy measures that the BoE could use, "quantitative easing (QE) is clearly an option for further stimulus," Saunders said. "There is a certain scope to expand the QE."
